Ramadan… Your days are more beautiful

The month of repentance has started.

This is the month where the soul is purified. Let us spend our times in obedience to Allah.

In this month falls the best night of the year … the Night of al-Qadr.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
نعمتانِ مغْبُونٌ فيهما كثيرٌ من الناس الصِّحَّة والفراغ
It means:
《There are two endowments that many people do not utilize wisely: being healthy and having free time.》

The person should be spending his time in doing the beneficial matters. Spending time in learning the religious knowledge is one of the most beneficial things one can do.

Ramadan… Your days are more beautiful

رمضان أيامك أحلى

In Ramadan, the doors of Paradise are opened, the doors of Hellfire are closed, and some devils are enchained.

Perform acts of obedience and your time will be pleasurable; Allah will make easy for you the pain of hunger and thirst and time will pass quickly.

Learn a lesson and teach your family what you learned.

If members of your household need help, offer a helping hand. Be an aide to them and offer kind words.
Help in lessening their pain and remember that the Prophet said what means:
“The best amongst you are those who treat their wives the best, and He the Prophet is best in treating His wives.

The scholars said: What is obligatory upon us and upon every Muslim to know is that our Lord has no shape or a form, because the shape has a “how” and the “how” does not apply to Allah or His Attributes. “How” is a question related to shapes, bodies, places, depth, and dimensions. Allah is clear of such attributes.

Imam Aliyy, the fourth righteous Caliph, said:*”النَّاسُ نِيامٌ فَإِذَا ماتُوا انْتَبَهُوا”*

People are asleep; they become heedful when they die.

It means: Most people are as if asleep: that is they are negligent of what benefits them after death. Then, after death, they realize and regret. During the time when their soul is leaving their bodies and they despair of life; and after they are buried, they regret having wasted this life’s opportunity and wish they had performed the obligations and avoided the sins.قال تعالى:﴿وتزودوا فإنَّ خيرَ الزادِ التقوى﴾The Verse means:“Take provisions for your journey towards the Afterlife, for surely, the best of provisions is piety.”👉Ramadan is a great opportunity to earn a lot of reward. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to prepare for Ramadan not by preparing lavish food, but rather by acts of obedience to Allah and generosity to others.
