على زائر المسجد النبوي أن يتأدب بآدابه ويدخل بالرِجْلِ اليمنى ويقول: بسم الله والسلام على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اللهم افتح لي أبواب رحمتك، أعوذُ بالله العظيم وبوجهه الكريم وسلطانه القديم من الشيطان الرجيم، ويمشي بالسكينة والوقار، ولا يجلس في مداخل المسجد والممرات، ويصلي تحية المسجد في الروضة الشريفة أو في أي ناحية من نواحي المسجد، ولا يتخطى رقاب الناس، ثم يصلي ويسلم على الرسول المُرسَل رحمة للعالمين، وصاحبيه أبي بكر وعمر، ولا يزاحم أثناء الدخول والخروج والسير للسلام على سيد الأنام، والأنسب أن يتخير الوقت المناسب في موسم الذِّرْوَة، ولا يرفع صوته بالصلاة والسلام. عند الحجرة النبوية المباركة.

One should walk calmly and reverently, avoid sitting in entrances and passageways, and perform the mosque greeting prayer in the Noble Rawdah or in any part of the mosque without stepping over people. Then, one should offer prayers and salutations upon the Messenger sent as mercy to the worlds and his companions, Abu Bakr and Umar. It is important to avoid crowding while entering, exiting, and walking to greet the Master of Creation, choosing an appropriate time during peak seasons, and not raising one’s voice with prayers and salutations near the blessed chamber.

Deve-se caminhar com calma e reverência, evitar sentar-se nas entradas e passagens, e realizar a oração de saudação à mesquita na Nobre Rawdah ou em qualquer parte da mesquita sem pisar sobre as pessoas. Em seguida, deve-se oferecer orações e saudações ao Mensageiro enviado como misericórdia para os mundos e aos seus companheiros, Abu Bakr e Umar. É importante evitar multidões ao entrar, sair e caminhar para saudar o Mestre da Criação, escolhendo um momento apropriado durante as temporadas de pico e não elevar a voz com orações e saudações perto da câmara abençoada.
