Al-Imaam Abul-Hasan Al-Ash^ariyy said in his book An-Nawaadir:
《مَنِ اعْتَقَدَ أَنَّ اللهَ جِسْمٌ فَهُوَ غَيْرُ عَارِفٍ بِرَبِّهِ وَإِنَّهُ كَافِرٌ بِهِ》
“Whoever believes that Allaah is a body does not know his Lord and surely he has blasphemed (committed kufr) in Him”.
