Patience with Calamities
الصبر على البلاء
It is known that calamities befall upon the believer from time to time.
البلاء مع حفظ الدين خير للمؤمن
▪️Many righteous Muslims used to be happy when inflicted with hardships because the one who is patient with hardships and does not object to Allah, these calamities will either be a cause for some of his sins to be forgiven or for him to have a higher rank.
▪️However, the person who objects to the Will of Allah when he becomes sick, or he loses his money, or a loved one dies, will be a loser on the Day of Judgement.
This is so because the one who objects to the Will of Allah becomes a non-Muslim.
▪️Having good health and being rich is not necessarily a sign that the person has a good status. Many non-Muslims have good looks, good health, and are rich, yet they are the worst creations of Allah because they are non-Muslims.
▪️Imam Bukhaariyy narrated that the Prophet said:
” من يُرد الله به خيرًا يُصب منه “
It means: Whomever Allah willed goodness for, Allah inflicts him with calamities. ( Either in his body, his children, or his money, or other than that.)
